Individual Coaching One to one sessions allow the flexibility to set up a programme to suit your particular needs and lifestyle. Practices are tailored to be incorporated into your daily routine in a way that is manageable for you.
Each session lasts an hour and you will be introduced to both formal and informal Mindfulness practices and techniques to maintain a sense of balance and ease, to manage stress healthily and to remember yourself in the middle of it all. Practices are based on the MBSR Programme and some people describe their experience as 'coming home'.
Informal Mindfulness Practices Each week various Mindfulness practices are introduced to be incorporated into your daily routine. Practices such as Self-Compassion and Loving Kindness, Mindful Listening to yourself and others, Mindful Communication with yourself and others along with practices from the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Programme. Engaging with the Informal practices help us to develop familiarity with being actively mindful as we go about our day. We learn how to empower ourselves to reduce stress, ease a racing mind, to be in the moment, just as it is (even when it's challenging) and more. We cultivate the skills to negotiate our way through stressful moments as they arise.
Formal Practices Here there is a commitment to a certain amount of time everyday to meditate. Time to settle in and take some quiet time. Formal meditations are approx 15, 20 or 30 minutes depending on your particular needs and what you can commit to at any particular stage. The physical, mental and emotional benefits of Mindfulness are many and like anything worthwhile, it takes practice.
