One of the aspects of work that people really enjoy and learn from is my work with changing perspectives.
As well as one to one Calm coaching sessions I also teach Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Programmes, Taming The Monkey Mind, One Day Events and Somatic Movement Education.
Work At the start of my working life I taught and examined Drama, Mime and Improvisation to children and young adults. This brought me all over Ireland with many great stories to tell. Even back then my goal was to build confidence and encourage the unique expression of each individual by guiding students to discover their strengths and help them negotiate situational challenges through role play.
I have some very happy memories and great stories (I love story) from those days.
As well as training to be a Teacher of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction with The Centre of Mindfulness, University of Massachusetts and Associate Member of the Centre for Mindfulness Ireland. I've also studied NLP and trained with The MythoSelf(r)Process with Applied Behavioural Technologies and qualified in Thomas Hanna Somatic Movement Education (Calm Body). My work and training have taken me to the Uk, India, Sweden the USA and of course Ireland.
I adhere to the strict professional guidelines in accordance with the Centre for Mindfulness for good teaching practice, with a view to delivering excellence to individuals in our one to one coaching sessions and on courses.
