This allows us to prioritise our health and well-being through focussed and conscious decision-making.For over 26 years, Freada has dedicated herself to researching and teaching clients to cultivate inner peace, calm, and focus amid the various facets of their daily life.
Drawing from her extensive training, personal practice and meticulous attention to what works, she guides clients to empower themselves to incorporate Mindfulness practices into their life. She says these practices teach how to cultivate a sense of calm in the moment and prioritise our health and well-being through focussed and conscious decision-making. She is acommitted to supporting her clients during her programmes. Freada works with people from all areas of life and empowers course participants and clients to bring more ease into their relationships, work, and areas they might struggle with. While her main focus is helping people to manage stress and negotiate their way through life's challenges , she also encourages us to reconnect with what's really important in our life and to remember ourselves in the middle of it all, which is something we often forget. Freada has a special interest in working with parents and carers who support children and adults suffering with Mental Health difficulties. Along with delivering the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Programmes and One to One coaching sessions, Freada also delivers shorter programmes such as Exploring Everyday Mindfulness, Loving Kindness and Self Compassion, Calm Body - Calm Mind - Calm Life and one-day events. She also teaches Hanna Somatics Movement Education. As well as her training in Mindfulness and Meditation with The Centre for Mindfulness, UMass Medical School, Freada also trained in The Mythoself ®Process with Applied Behavioural Technologies, The Dramatic Arts and Thomas Hanna Somatic Movement Education. In her early career she worked for many years building confidence in children and young adults through teaching and examining Drama, her focus being on each participant expressing thier uniqueness. This work took her all over Ireland from which she has many happy memories. She has worked and trained in Ireland, UK, India, Sweden and USA. Now settled in Co. Wicklow, Freada adheres to the professional guidelines in accordance with the Centre for Mindfulness for good teaching practice with a view to delivering excellence to participants on her courses and within her one to one sessions. Freada brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her work.
